Find my Office 365 IMAP or POP settings
Find your Office 365 IMAP or POP settings to manually configure your email account. This is an alternative email setup method for email clients that don't support Microsoft Exchange.
Note: Use IMAP if you have a choice, since it offers better email synchronization across devices and accounts. Learn more about the differences between IMAP and POP.
- Sign in to Outlook on the web. Use your Office 365 email address and password (your GoDaddy username and password won't work here).
- In the top right corner, select Settings > View all Outlook settings.
- Select Mail > Sync email. You'll see the POP, IMAP and SMTP settings for Office 365.
Attention C3: If a customer wants to set up their Office 365 from GoDaddy email using IMAP or POP3 email, use the settings above. Note that these are the settings that work for any client or device, but we're not creating articles to set up non-Exchange email for Office 365 using different devices. We don't encourage users to set up their email this way, but we are aware that customers always have exceptions that we can't take into account.
